Hon. Teslim Igbalaye, Secretary to the Osun State Government, has congratulated Senator (DR) Kamorudeen Olalere Oyewumi, the Deputy Minority Leader of the Nigeria Senate and the Senator representing Osun West Senatorial District, on the occasion of his birthday.

In his statement on friday, 5th of January, 2023, signed by his media aide, Kehinde Adeoye, the SSG described Senator Oyewumi as "an astute politician and a cerebral public servant with an astonishing record of service"

Hon. Igbalaye pointed out that Sen. Lere Oyewumi continues to make his mark in the political space in Osun State and beyond, especially with his excellent representation and contributions first as a senator representing the good people of Osun West, and as the Deputy Minority Leader of the Senate.

"Today, I celebrate a great leader, an astute politician and a cerebral public servant with an astonishing record of service, Sen. (DR) Olalere Oyewumi on the occasion of his birthday.

Over the years, you have embodied excellence, especially in the Osun political space, but more importantly, in your current role as the Deputy Minority Leader of the Senate, and also the Senator representing the wonderful people of Osun West.

"You contributions to nation building and human capital development cannot be overemphasized. You have continued to prove that your representation is a blessing."

Hon. Igbalaye prayed for him and wished him well.

"I pray you receive more strength to do even more and serve our people. Good health, long life and abundance of God's blessings will become yours," he added.
