An AI rendered this image of Lagos in 2034. In the image Apapa was connected to the Marina by a foot bridge. Really impressive . I also read some Extracts from a book '2054' that posits that an axis of Brazil, Nigeria and China is the world's dominant power. Nigeria becomes a wakanda type high tech country. You can find these extracts in 'Wired' magazines online magazine In spite of our current troubles can we lift up our heads and envison how we prepare our children for a dominant high tech Nigeria? Mynd44 let's encourage Nigerians 1 Like

Pipe dream, it seems AI will cause more problems than it will solve with some of these unrealistic projections. AI needs to be trained in the current economic realities of Lagos which I am very sure it doesn't have before coming up with any projections |

With what resources?.. Did they give South West Development Commission or did Lagos State get the special status recognition to achieve this?. The mum.u Senators from South West are there mute, only after their pockets while others are pushing for Development Commission for their region despite giving next to no vote to the current administration. Continue dreaming, don't wake up from your slumber and fight for your rights. 1 Like 1 Share |

Don't be too confident yet. They only promised 24-hour electricity in Abia, similar to how Dangote Refinery promised cheap fuel. Don't get your hopes up yet lol 1 Like |

Footbridge from marina to Apapa makes sense, such a foot bridge across the water is a good tourism attraction. |

Re: What Lagos Will Look Like In 2034 by PHAYOL81: 11:39pm On Feb 25 |
2034 too close but lagos ain't sleeping on its motion, its gradually improving. With Eko Atlantic City project underway and the Ocean Green City and Osolu Palm Island in the pipeline, perhaps we may be cool by 2050 or 2060 depending on how fast we attain some model of resources devolution from the central. |
