Has it ended? ....are we winning in wrestling and boxing but nah only God fit answers that one...if we win people go talks say we are using the frustration and anger in Nigeria to finish our opponents but if we come lose nko, people go talks say seh person wey hunger wan finish wan go win fight before, sebbi na person wey belleful go get strength to fight, country wey hunger dey kill him people up and down still get strength to be second,Nigerians are talented but our government dem bad ..that's why it good to have a stable country so there won't be excuses if things go otherwise 7 Likes 1 Share |

frog12: Gold is the priority here bro..... Then comes silver... Having one gold is better than 30 bronze medals... not only applicable to Nigeria, study the ranking very well.. Guinea got just 1 gold and ranked above the likes Botswana and Kenya with 5 bronze medals. 37 Likes 2 Shares |

What a disgrace! With >200 MM pple, we still manage to trail Egypt by >60 medals (>50 in gold category) and some are even celebrating this. The height of mediocrity! Useless nation. 39 Likes 1 Share |

That is the statistics, pay attention to the gold. You can't have 10 Toyota Corolla and i have only 1 private jet and you claim to be richer than me. LeeSantos: 26 Likes |

Swimming and gymnastics is the reason for Egypt dominance, athletics will push nigeria a bit closer to Egypt but not to even match them. Egypt na power house for this game for years no be today 8 Likes |

Tareq1105:Nigeria participated in events it has strength in: powerlifting, wrestling, athletics, table tennis etc while Egypt must have gone for more sports. The same Egypt clinching this number of golds may not win one single gold at world level (Olympics). A country like Kenya participating in long distance races ( its strength) will top Africa at the Olympics. Why waste money on sports you know your athletes cannot win? Although Nigeria with over 200 million should be good atleast in 80percent of sports. We have many raw talents in this couny but corruption will not let things be at it is. 4 Likes 1 Share |

YorubaKing: In most cases, a top sporting nation tops the table due to the fact that they are able to produce men and women for every sports being the host. Likewise, they are allowed to remove or add some minor events, which again gives them an edge, they add sports where they are very good and remove others where they are very weak. But that still doesn't rule out the fact that Nigeria hardly ever takes advantage of its large population. 2 Likes |
