Why Uniport Should Investigate The Misconduct Of An Alleged Lecturer by Kimcutie: 3:28pm On Apr 24
Recently a news broke out, where an unidentified lecturer of a particular school was seen on video touching a unidentified female student inappropriately in his office, the story had it that it was a uniport lecturer in the video and it was also posted by a one RSUTV who claimed it was from microbiology department and the management of Uniport went with that error, using it as a loophole to argue that the incident didn’t occur in the school.

The story was first posted by an Instagram outlet named “Port Harcourt Amebo” and it didn’t caption it to any department, same story was posted on Facebook and a netizen who was also a victim of the said lecturer spoke out about it and even provided his name.

In the screenshot, the lecturer is from Mechanical engineering and not microbiology, instead of the school management to investigate the matter and publish its findings, they instead choose to argue that the post was made by RSUTV(Rivers State University TV) and microbiology is upstairs and in the video, grasses can be seen through the video meaning it’s downstairs that video was taken so therefore it’s fake news to tarnish the image of the school.

They should acknowledge that it indeed happened and find a way to punish the lecturer so others like him will stop their acts and act like fathers and mothers to the students.
