I'm not from SE so be guided. Lagos as a territory of Nigeria with resources from the Niger Delta oil use in developing it belongs to all Nigerians equally.

How does Obi come into this matter? That I support Obi means I don't have my independent opinion on things?

Don't be sentimental. If you want Yoruba land back, you have to secede from Nigeria. As it is not, you do not have more benefits in Lagos than someone like me from Delta

You know Lagos belongs to all Nigerians. If your benefit is your ability to come out at night on Oro day, what will i do with it?

We're talking of my right to live and work anywhere in Nigeria including Lagos, you're talking of Oro festival. Secede and you'll have your Lagos back but until then, its for all Nigerians
SonofLagos:
you are not even intelligent, so the oil money is only shared to Lagos right? Even Delta with all the oil money they receive is still backward in development and here you are boasting about a state doing far better than the cave you came from😂 na jealousy and envy go kill una…hope you heard about the Oro festival? If na your papa born you, advise any woman in your household to come and challenge the willpower of the aborigines….shameless inferior idiat😂
Re: Lagos To Celebrate Yoruba Week Annually In September by DMerciful(m): 2:09pm On Apr 30
You're majoring in the minor. As long as i can live and work anywhere in Nigeria including Lagos is enough. If i want to marry a Yoruba woman, i can. So you do not have more benefits than me in Lagos

Yorubaland that we already have without any Sentiment

you make us think that the way all of Igboland surrendered to Obasanjo and Obasanjo took their surrender as a gentleman and led your leaders to Gowon in Lagos if it had been the other way round God forbid and Ojukwu was in Obasanjo shoes

You guys would have claimed to be the New owners of Yorubaland !!
You make it look like Obasanjo and Gowon were wrong to return your homeland to you

That is how bad your behavior is !!

And there should be a customized 'asoebi' which must be worn by everyone residing in Lagos be you Igbo or Hausa most especially traders across the state.
Failure to comply should attract stiff penalties.
This will be a constant reminder that Lagos is Yoruba land.

If I can speak my language and your language,
who has more advantage?

If I have enough popularity, I can be voted for just like other non Yorubas winning elections. Afterall, no Lagos indigene has been governor in Lagos since 1999. Suffice to say that Aboriginal Lagosians are actually oppressed by Yorubas from other state using the Yoruba heritage as excuse.

You said Yoruba is being taught in schools in a mocking way but you don't know how shortsighted you sound. A bilingual person always have advantages all other things remaining constant.

You can't use violence in elections for long. You should know this. If eventually we have electronic voting, non indigenes of Lagos who are not Yorubas will join with Aboriginal Yorubas of Lagos to ensure that only Lagosians like Agbaje, Gbadebo, Doherty,Jandor, Funke Akindeke win Lagos gubernatorial elections and not people from Ekiti, Osun, Ogun, Oyo etc who have prevented Lagosians from determining their destiny

please try and type in pigin if English is difficult to write and who mentioned violence in my post? Chinonso it’s non of your business if a Oyo or ekiti man becomes governor in Lagos, Lagos is Yoruba land and so are the other state you mentioned. Yoruba are one and we don’t practice your primitive culture of Osu where some ibos are slaves or where an Anambala man sees himself has superior to ebonyi😂 as long as it is not Chinedu from a cursed land come to seek power in Lagos, then we are fine with any Yoruba man out side Lagos…Yoruba is one, please be worried about your backward region.. I really don’t know the problem of a migrant Igbo with how Yoruba people govern themselves grin

There was no word like Yoruba before 1808! Infacts you guys were fighting yourself to death because you don't agree. You only started agreeing less than 80yrs ago in order to compete with Igbos.

Having said that, if Yorubas are one, how come no Lagos indigene has been governor since 1999? You use your common language to deprive indigenous Lagosians while deceiving them you're one.

The reason you've prevented indigenous Lagosians leadership is because you feel they're too liberal and might treat Igbos like other Yorubas from Ekiti, Ondo the same. This stronghold won't be for long. Tinubu wont be there forever

Not all Igbos are from SE. I'm not from SE!

You're not an indigenous Lagosian and if you're, you have Stockholm syndrome.

What is the Yoruba word for Lagos?

The Slave Coast will eventually be ruled by the Aboriginals eventually.

The British ruled India, The kingdoms of Thailand, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia , Arab Emirates,

It depends on how good the agreement the rulers get from the invaders

Japan was completely and thoroughly defeated and Conquered by the US, they didn’t hang the Emperor of Japan
Because he was useful to them so they hanged the Prime Minister Tojo instead

Is Japan not still a Nation?

From your words I am even more convinced that if Ojukwu was in Obasanjo’s shoes he would have
claimed all Igboland By right of Conquest he would not have given back the land to its owners

Use your head and compare like for like. California joined the United State much later. They cannot say New York people can't come to California. To do that, they'd have to breakaway from the US, then they can regulate their borders.

You cannot be within a country and say you wanna regulate your borders. If you cannot regulate your border, how then can you say its your land?
