Not an easy decision – NFF President Gusau on Finidi as Super Eagles coach April 30, 2024 By Mike Oyebola President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Ibrahim Gusau, admitted the decision to appoint Finidi George as head coach of the Super Eagles was not easy. Finidi was named successor to Portuguese Jose Peseiro on Friday. The 53-year-old got the nod ahead of his former international teammate, Emmanuel Amuneke. “It wasn’t an easy decision,” Gusau said in an interview with former Super Eagles media officer Toyin Ibitoye. “We’ve to begin to trust our own.
