I don't think he is a shameful illiterate especially if your assessment of him is based on what he said because most of Nigeria's weapons are in the hands of bandits that shouldn't have taken the Nigerian army a week to flush out if they want to.

The way Nigerians condemn their country is so disheartening.

Dour country is not a war monger and we don’t need sophisticated weapons that will cost us billions of dollars.

The likes of the US and NATO countries invest heavily in warfare because the are born terrorist. They always have a reason for war and why they invest in those gadgets.

Same Nigerians will criticize the government if it purchases F-35. They will still tell you such money can upgrade the whole universities in Nigeria.

You can never satisfy Nigerians . Not even Christ or Mohammed.

They are born to condemn!

We came agonizingly close to a conventional war with Niger.... We face threats from insurgents from north, south, east and west of Nigeria.... The presence of these machines alone can strike fear into the heart of the enemies.... Check all the world powers today, their airforce boasts some of the best technologies in existence
f16 won’t fix Nigerians problem. Any 4th generation fighter is ok for our current military capabilities. Plus it’s easy to forget how maintenance costs can render the planes unusable especially western planes that are being decommissioned like the f16. The Chinese are still making use of this airframe so there’s no problem sticking to it

As someone earlier mentioned “This post is just data without information”

Non of the pictures here tagged to this post is the F-7NI.

They’re no numbers in your post just raw data.

You can do well buy looking for the actual picture of the aircraft. A simple wiki search will help

Acquiring these fighters is not the problem, but how effective are they and maintenance in our hands. On personal note,Nigeria can be compared with individual having lots of shoes or clothes at home and never use them at the end,he discard them and buy the latest, just to demonstrate he's rich.We need DELIVERANCE.

The fact that they are decommissioned isn't an issue because Lockheed Martin promised to keep producing spares for those using the f16s.....

Compared to airforce like that of south Africa, Algeria and Egypt and even Morocco.... I'm afraid Nigeria is still far behind....

Personally, I'll rather have a fleet of 10 f16s than 20 of those funny looking planes from China
