It is true that the previous N30,000 minimum wage is no longer sustainable but fixing minimum wage on N615,000 is unrealistic and could lead to hyper-inflation in the country.
Such largesse wage increase can make prices of goods and services rise to an astronomical level and increase the sufferings already initiated by the removal of petroleum subsidy.

Methinks fixing minimum wage at N80,000 would be more realistic and may inflict less economic stress on the masses.

Don't mind him, he just read SS 1 Economics textbook and came here to explain what he read. We've been experiencing hyper-inflation since 2017.
