I'm 26 years old and an orphan. I lost my father when I was in Junior Secondary School (JSS 2) and my mother when I was in Senior Secondary School (SS2). This meant I had to fend for myself from a young age. Despite the challenges, I started a legitimate business to support myself and it has been successful. I can now comfortably pay my bills and even support others. However, I've always dreamed of furthering my education. Initially, I wanted to study computer science, but I'm not very comfortable with mathematics, which is a crucial part of the course. Additionally, managing two businesses is already stressful, and I don't want to add to that stress. So, I'm considering studying Business Administration instead. My question is, can I be admitted to a federal or private university to study Business Administration despite having a pure science background in my WAEC results? In my WAEC exams, I got 8 credits in all the science subjects, except for Economics, which I passed with an E grade. I want to get a degree in Business Administration for personal fulfillment and to enhance my business skills, not to look for a job. |

Hello Nairalanders! I'm pleased to share my update with you all. Despite not meeting the requirements for my initial dream course due to my O'level results, I've been offered a provisional admission to study Political Science at Ahmadu Bello University (ABU)! I'm really excited about this opportunity and I'm looking forward to making the most of it. Next step is physical screening, which I'm preparing for. I'll make sure to post an update here to keep you all informed about my progress.
