In light of the tensions witnessed in relations between Egypt and Israel, since the Israeli forces took control of the Palestinian side of the Rafah border crossing, and the wider incursion of Israeli tanks into the east of the city of Rafah, which is crowded with displaced people, the Israeli government added fuel to the fire.

Government spokesman David Mincer announced on Wednesday that his country had asked Egypt, which shares a common border with Gaza, to open the way for Palestinian civilians who wish to flee the war to enter its territory, but Cairo refused. He also renewed his country's commitment to eliminating "the four remaining Hamas brigades in Rafah."

He added, "Not all Hamas members must be there," referring to Rafah. Over the past two days, Cairo and Tel Aviv have exchanged pushback and response. After Israeli Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz accused the Egyptian side of closing the Rafah crossing and thus obstructing the entry of aid, his Egyptian counterpart, Sameh Shukri, confirmed that Tel Aviv’s control of the crossing on October 7 was what stopped relief work for the residents of Gaza.

Egypt has also repeatedly repeated over the past few days its rejection of a ground incursion into Rafah, or the invasion of the border city crowded with displaced people, which previously housed more than a million and a half Palestinians, especially as there is no safe place for them to take refuge.

During the recent period, Cairo strongly protested the invasion of Rafah, saying that the operation endangered the peace treaty, and some Egyptian officials threatened to reduce diplomatic relations and withdraw the ambassador from Tel Aviv. It is noteworthy that since the outbreak of the war in Gaza, on October 7, Egypt has been warning against the forced displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, stressing its rejection of any old, premeditated Israeli plans to settle Palestinians in Sinai.

On the other hand, the Israeli Broadcasting Authority reported today (Sunday) that Defense Minister Yoav Gallant called on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during a session of the Ministerial Council for Political and Security Affairs to approve the Egyptian proposal regarding the Gaza Strip, according to what was reported by the Arab World News Agency.

The broadcasting authority quoted Gallant as saying during a council meeting: “This is a good deal and it is our chance to return the kidnapped people to the homeland.” The Minister of Defense added: “We are required on a moral and ethical level to return the kidnapped people, especially you and me, the Prime Minister and Minister of Defense since October 7.” “I am not speaking publicly so as not to raise the price, but this deal must be approved.”

The broadcasting authority said that the Egyptian initiative “received the support of all members of the Ministerial Council, including officials in the security services.” According to the commission, Netanyahu expressed “reservations, but in the end the broad outlines” of the Egyptian initiative were approved.

The authority added that Netanyahu and the heads of the security services decided in a session of the expanded government that was held after the session of the Ministerial Council for Political and Security Affairs not to present the broad outlines to the members of the government “for fear of leaks that would harm the negotiations.”

The Hamas movement announced earlier today that its delegation left Cairo, following a round of negotiations, to consult with the movement’s leadership about a possible truce and prisoner exchange agreement with Israel. The movement said, in a statement, that the delegation delivered the mediators in Egypt and Qatar “Hamas’ response, where in-depth and serious discussions took place with them.” The statement added: “The movement affirms its positive and responsible approach, and its keenness and determination to reach an agreement that meets the national demands of our people, ends the aggression completely, achieves withdrawal from the entire Gaza Strip, returns the displaced, intensifies relief, begins reconstruction, and completes the prisoner exchange deal.”

The current Egyptian president is about the most confused president in the world right now.

He is catching feelings that the israelis are trying to wipe off her mass and is also accusing the idf of killing civilians
. At the same time he has refused to open his border to allow Palestinian civilians temporarily emigrate to the Danai desert to live peacefully

Sisi is originally of Morocan Jewish descent.

There are more Morocan Jews in the IDF than any other Jewish larpers.

He was put in power to see to the Greater Israel Project .

He like most Arab leaders are covet Zionists.

He is only making half hearted cries over the Palestinian cause because he fears a serious uprising by his people which will see to him being overthrown.

The World Bank, IMF and the crypto Jews running Saudi Arabia have been dangling loans and investments as a condition for him to support the ongoing genocide and eviction of Palestinians out if their homeland and into the Sinai desert.

He is even working against Egyptian interests by supporting a new shipping canal that will pass through Israel that will make the Suez canal redundant.

There are so many willing Zionist traitors running their puppet role for Zion.
