A member of the House of Representatives, Ikenga Ugochinyere (PDP, Imo), has said the judgement of the Court of Appeal on the political crisis in Rivers State has not changed the situation in the state.

The lawmaker, who is an ally of Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State, said this while reacting to the judgement.

He said the 25 members of the Assembly, loyal to former Governor Nyesom Wike, remained sacked because the Court of Appeal ruling was not on the main substance of the matter.

I am afraid the Rivers State crisis will become judicial precedence where future judgements will be premised.

The joke is being given judicial backing.

With TPain's personal pesin at the helm of affairs in the very corrupt S. Court, Fubara should play it smart & make peace with Wike..... Although it's rather too too late.

There is an adage that says you don't ask which kind of death your papa die, until you have cutlass in your hands, else, you go just chop konk wey you no suppose chop (suffer unnecessarily) ..

I don't see this S. Court giving a fair hearing on this matter.

Sim shouldn't allow those hailing him to push him into the fire 🔥. because not only will he be impeached, EFCC will come hard after him, don't forget Wicked Wike is in APC and has the trust of Tpain.

That's what happens when the judiciary turns themselves to puppets for the executive and highest bidders..

This one will not go and find and a place and sleep. He's part of the confusionist advising the governor to ignore court judgements as if he has a valid voice in the case. Fubara will be led to constitutional grave and mistakes sooner or later. He thinks being a governor equates to being the LAW. This idiot said the situation hasn't changed in the state but he doesn't know the state government has filed for stay of execution for that same matter. Mumu ikenga

Only a court can sack them. Which court sacked them.

This how they are misleading Fubara rather than obey court order.

Nonsense

But when wike was being God in charge of rivers state and decided all what to do and which order to obey he was not acting as the LAW ? Would wike have followed any court Judgment against his wishes ? You all are quick to take side in a politician who didn’t do better when he was there LOL

Ikenga wan begin show Wike pepper! If Wike isn't tamed now, that man will become a big problem in this country. PDP governors are too scared to call him to order. Thank God Ikenga isn't a coward.

No be by noise making. I think Fubara has gone to Supreme Court? When Supreme Court also affairms the Justice Omotosho Judgement that recognizes the Martins Amaewhule led House of Assembly and directs Fubara to resubmit the budget to them. Advice Fubara to disobey the judgement because you think the lawmakers defected to APC and let's see how that will go for Fubara. Nonsense and ingredients.
