The severity of this year's raining season was predicted by NIMET with Port Harcourt featuring as cities in Nigeria that will be greated affected by this year's downpour. The prediction of NIMET has started manifesting as could be seen from the picture below. The extent of today's donwpour was such that vehiclE plying the Artilary to Rumuola route had a very rough time assessing the down sectiOn Of the ever busy RumuOla bridge. Few impatient motOrist whO make attempt at assessing the flOod prOne dOwn sectiOn Of the bridge had their vehicle submerged.

I've expected people like you will derail the topic. Flooding is a global phenomenon and is unavoidable. Nigeria's case is worst because our sanitary habits are very poor. This result in blocked drainage. When the volume rate of water produced by the rain exceeds the rate of runoff, then flooding starts. So, this isn't about NGF sh.it but natural phenomenon competing with man-made design. Thanks!
