There is no doubt to the fact these two writters are the greatest contemporaries in the history of african literature. To you, who do you think is better between these two african giants?

I'd be partial if i chose Chinua Acebe because i'm not a fan of plays thus i never read Any of Wole's Books with the exception of 'The trials of brother Jero' which i read in Jss3 as part of my English Syllabus but i've read most of Chinua Achebe's books,from things fall apart,to Arrow of God,No longer @ ease,Girls @ war and most recently There was a country. Chinua does it for me!

can NL peeps drop the Wole vs Chinua thing? why compare them, what do they have in common. this crap is getting old. The other thread was Wole didn't attend Chinua's burial, are they related? Leave chinua to rest in peace and leave Wole too
