In a faraway land with all the goods that man could ever want, lived a man who had a large family with numerous children. This man enjoyed years of peace and abundance with his children. He cared for them like no other parent could, teaching them his trade, walking through the vast land expanse, telling stories to them and watching over them all through their growing years. So much was his love for the family that even when he hurt from the injuries sustained from battles fought with wild animals and estranged villages that tried to hurt his family, he never let it be known to his children for avoidance of getting his children worried.

Years passed, the children grew and all was well. The children had grown to take after the fathers love and practicing his trade, tilling the soil and observing the seed and harvest times, each bearing fruits in due season. However, one of the sons decided otherwise and mingled with an estranged family with deep hatred for the father’s family. In the course of the sons renegading, the estranged ones decided to kill him as a means of saddening the father.

This father, knowing the only outcome of the capture was the death of his son, made a bargain with the estranged ones and traded himself in his sons’ stead.

The exchange was agreed and the swap made, even at the point the exchange, the son still felt no remorse, believing his father’s sacrifice a right, however the words of the father stuck to his heart; My son, I love you in spite of your shortcomings. Though your acts may cause me my life, I believe in you. I have no doubt that you will take care of the family as I have. You will bear fruits as I have and you will remember all I have taught you.

These words have forever remained the sons mantra and clinging rope to reality each time he strayed back into his old ways..

Indeed, how deep the fathers love for us….
