The Kano State police command has reported to have arrested a young man whose name is yet to be revealed for alleged raping over 40 people in Dangora community.

According to the Police Spokesman, Abdullahi Haruna who hinted members of the public said that the suspect attacked a home in the middle of the day while they were asleep.

However, the suspect was first seen by the mother of the children in her children room and immediately the suspect noticed that the mother has seen him, he ran away.

Information getting to us has it that members of the community got involved in chasing the suspect until he was caught and handed over to the police.

Recently there has been a rapid report of rape cases in Nigeria and this affect mostly children under the age of 15 years.
