AKSG SPENDS N112BN ON ROAD PROJECTS: YET NOTHING IS GOING ON AT CONSTRUCTION SITES!

...Eleven(11) other completed roads included in the 2024 budget...

...2024 budget padding brouhaha looming...

That Akwa Ibom State Government has spent over N112 billion on road infrastructure since May 2023 is rather mind-buggling, worrisome, grave fallacy and one of the 21st century tales by moonlight...

A government that isn't up to a year old since swearing in on May 29,2023 is claiming to have sunk in such a whooping sum of state funds into a non-existence/audio road projects unimaginable is painting a clearer picture of the Umo Eno led administration not doing anything different from the previous administration which had groomed, cultivated and implemented the culture of spendthridting the state Treasury in absolute secrecy which has given rise to the fathom looting spree, fingering and rakeless wasting of the people's commonwealth/patrimony in the hands of a few greedy, marabouting, selfish, self pocket filled and self-centered cabal who are only interested in enriching their immediate family, relations, selected friends, cronies, business associates and government hallelujah praises singers to the detriment of the common masses (Akwaibomites)

In a recent disclosure by the Commissioner for Works and Fire Service, Prof Eno Ibanga when he presented a breakdown at the State Executive Council meeting in Uyo.

Eno Ibanga claimed 39 new road projects have been undertaken with N78.77 billion released to fund them, while old projects have been funded to the tone of over N30 Billion, with an additional N12 Billion recently released by the Governor.

If we have to go by the figures released by the Commissioner for Works that a whooping N112 billion has been disbursed by the Governor for road infrastructure since May 2023, with 39 new road projects receiving N78.77 billion & N30 Billion for old projects, with additional release of N12 Billion, how come is the state not witnessing much of the infrastructural projects spanning the state so far❓

The Umo Eno led administration has so far performed abysmally low if we have to go by the current indices of hunger, massive unemployment, hyperinflation rate in the cost of living and slow pace of economic activities in the state since assumption of office...

If the governor and his Co- deceptive travellers are busy mouthing about release of funds for projects, Akwaibomites will definitely want to see how much work is going on at those sites as claimed...

This administration is yet to hit the ground since assumption of office, all we see is random organization of crusades alongside dabbling political fathers of faith and uncountable flag off of projects without especially road projects as claimed without nothing going on at most of the project sites...

If government claims releasing such whooping sum of monies for roads construction alone within the spate of 9-10 months since May 29, we should at least see massive construction sites sprawling the nooks and crannies of the state not when nothing is going on and they're telling us folk tales and chorusing folklores of empty achievements yet billions of state allocation/funds, security votes, internally generated revenue and other royalties are accruing into the state treasury...

One the banes and sad scenarios hovering like a thick cloud over this administration is the fact that Eno is still allowing himself get surrounded by those who alongside the excruciating reign of eight (cool unyielding jamboree years of his political godfather and predecessor Udom Emmanuel remains in the corridors of power those who aided in looting/milking this state dry are those taking strategic policy decisions since his assumption and this will definitely not change the development, growth and advancement narrative positively with all this naysayers, confusionist, detractors, cheap monks, sychophantic hallelujah praises singers and selfish bigots hanging on...

Are we not aware that Uyo - Ikot Ekpene road and eleven (11) other completed projects are currently in the approved 2024 budget of the state government❓

There are enough to show the public aside from the White Elephant projects of past administration of Udom Emmanuel which Eno has likewise injected billions of state funds to continue to draw crippling funds into those good for nothing ventures. A typical example is the five hundred million naira (500,000,000.00) allocation for the construction of additional structures at the worship centre which hasn't been put to adequate use since the exit of his predecessor...

The State Bulk Purchase Agency recently inaugurated by Gov. Eno to ensure equitable involvement of the vulnerable persons has defaulted with so much of state funds sunk into the hurriedly passed bill by the rubber stamped state assembly...

The agency is operated on party lines and the beneficiaries are merely people from one party, yes of course the People's Democratic Party (PDP)The outcry by supposed beneficiaries currently has reached a crescendo and the head of the agency being the governor's kinsman is also a rooted PDP apologist...

In all I believe those managing the information organs of government should guide most of this appointees to do more on figures research which do not balance with work done to avoid washing their dirty linen in the market square, there's nothing showing so far if government claims it has so far in less than ten(10) months in office spent such in road construction alone aside flagging off rasmatazz...

It's all a grand conspiracy to loot, spendthrift and milk the state treasury within a few cabal...

Umo Eno should face governance to a radical conclusion and avoid those luring him into this whitewash of piling up funds for his re-election...

What will be will be... 2027 is coming, deliver on election promises if any...

None of them believe in accountability anymore because they already know mandate thief have polluted the institutions in the country that should have held public office holders accountable. How many Nigerians today believe they have a president or have trust in judiciary or INEC?

The writer must be a chronic liar if he continues to claim that Emmanuel Udom did nothing in Akwa Ibom state. Certainly he must just be waking up after excessive drinking of burukutu and eating of 404.

As in, did the writer expect the Governor to flood his appointments with members of opposition parties?

I see bitterness
