Peter Obi Comments About Road Accidents In Kogi And Enugu by naptu2: 6:23pm On May 01
Peter Obi @PeterObi

I have just confirmed two very gory road accidents in Kogi and Enugu states respectively that claimed the lives of 35 persons. The Kogi incident happened on Sunday along Okene/Lokoja bye where 19 persons were roasted alive while the other occurred along Nsukka/Enugu Road in Enugu state on Tuesday claiming the lives of sixteen persons. The Enugu State Police Command and Kogi State Federal Road Service Corps, FRSC have confirmed the two accidents.

Even though the cause of the accidents is yet unknown, it must not be unconnected with the bad conditions of roads and insecurities.

This is why I continue to shout out that our meager resources should be channeled at priority areas of fixing our internal roads to make them passable before going for super highway projects, which will take the chunk of the resources meant for these essential areas.

My heart goes to the families of the deceased and the injured as I pray to God to give them the strength to bear the huge loss. My condolences also go to the governments and the people of Kogi and Enugu states. -PO

Peter Obi is right as always.

We need leaders who can arrange our projects by priorities. You cannot be doing a white elephant super highway that may not be completed in 15 years while the express being used by thousands of motorists is a death trap that continues to drink blood on a daily basis.

We love you PO, always on point.

PO is very well on point.
Carrying out such a project in the present state of our nation today is high level madness.

The whole thing about the project itself is too shady. From the process of bidding , the contractors , the whole thing is like a crime scene.

All i can deduce all these shady moves of tinubu and his team is that someone or group of persons are in mad haste to Loot, plunder, steal, grab and embezell funds recklessly .

Your Excellency, Mr. Peter obi, pls continue to be the voice of reasoning. Continue to be the voice of sanity.
In this season of recklessness , propagandas , lies and cluelessness right from the top, the nation needs sane heads like you.

What if it was reckless driving?. The causes of the accidents are yet unknown but you've already come to a conclusion. The more they flog this 3rd class loser for his reckless talking, the more he takes his weed, he is so obsessed with attention seeking.

Atiku condemned this shady construction, but Na Obi Dem the attack back to back

That road is the least of our worries now.

We have unemployment, insecurity, inflation, etc hitting the country hard.

Let's focus of these ones first!!

Priorise your priority for economization of resources for efficient provision of essential infrastructure, the useless government and it herd of deaden zombies say no.

These roads ought to have been rehabilited first before building a super highway in these times of economic meltdown given the numerous abandoned govt projects across this nation. The economic illiterates are not seeing reasoning.

He has a point in my opinion.

But the coastal road is just as important as the other roads that need attention, and I believe the FG is working simultaneously to fix others too.

Meanwhile, contact me if you need to buy vehicles that can survive on Nigerian roads. Take a stroll through my profile for more enquiries.

This man mental problem keep getting worse by the day.

Below is him in 2009 abusing Ngige for claiming accidents that happened during Peter Obi tenure was due to bad roads.

I have never seen any more hypocritical person than Obi. Did he forgot he was once a Governor?

Who did Obi blame the accidents that happened on state roads in Anambra when he was Governor?

What road did the Minimalist construct that did not pack up few years later?

You'll soon see them crying because Peter Obi, a citizen, spoke.

They've started arriving to cry their sweet and salty tears like starving baby billy goats.

Accidents happen whether a road is good or bad. That is not to say that I'm not against Thièfnubu not fixing deplorable state our roads while channeling huge amount of stupidity for the coastal highway fraud.

He has no point.

That a new project is starting, does not mean work is not ongoing on others.

He is a Minimalist, so he has to reason as such.

See internal road projects that are being concluded, yet a typical Obidient is asking for bicycle lane and whatnot.

That is a typical Obi mentality that can never be assuaged due to the bitterness of electoral defeat.
