That damn iron ruines Marks and Spencer trousers on a Christmas afternoon while my friends were outside dressed to kill waiting for me to show my swagger, as a sharp man I just swapped it with my Max jean matched with my sweet my brown Flamingo suede snickers.
It would have been a very messy Christmas for me,but all the same the iron served for a very long time.

Krucifax: Definitely during my F.G.C Kwali, Abuja days in the early 90s. Used correctly it gives a near perfect ironed clothing.
Caution has to be used with white fabrics, especially when the coal embers start to die,b'cos you'll be blowing it with your breath or an improvised fanning device (i.e notebook, slippers, empty cut out cornflakes box,e.t.c).
But as we moved from Junior to Senior secondary,it was considered "ras" to use one. You had to use electric iron or form like you were using one.Memories i so miss Naija!!

Good to know of a fellow "Kwalian" out there!

Finished 93 set...

Charcoal iron burnt my favourite white shirt in JS2... I wore it like that wiv all those holesss...

God bless you if you buy wet charcoal. You will blow and blow until you will almost blow your eyes out. And the swinging motion? Something else.

Then imagine doing all that work and then getting your clothes burnt by the damn thing. Not cool.
