There are a lot of churches out there that offers salvation to everyone, whether they are obedient to the Scriptures or not. They proclaim there is no need to reform your life; you can be saved just the way you are. People want a church that takes no effort to examine the life they live. We have thousands of denominations competing for members, yet saying it doesn’t really matter where you meet. People choose which church to go instead of letting the Holy Spirit make the choice for them. Those who accept this bargain are looking for a religion that takes little effort to maintain. Yet it is this very carelessness that can lead us into trouble.

1 Corinthians 10:12
“If you think you are standing strong, be careful not to fall.”

Choosing a church to worship God is not a place to go looking for bargains. Our eternal salvation depends on what we choose. How unfortunate to be rejected by our Lord because we thought we could cut corners.

Philippians 2:12-13
“......................Work hard to show the results of your salvation, obeying God with deep reverence and fear. For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him”
