You mean the flight dispatch course Ur best bet for comfort, peace of mind for that course is the training residence. 100dhs per night, cleaning service 2wice a week, nice restuarant to order from around, swt enviroment etc. U stay outside u suffer traffic, tiredness among many. Trust me u need all the free time u can get to study hard. U sure don't wanna be the lowest in class also. Nice instructors too...... Holla back if u need more info. And ur budget matters so affordable is bed space(very cheap)maybe 10 in a room like FGC dorm because getting shared apartment as a naija guy in dubai no easy plus new rules bout bachelours(lol)

Thanks wilson, look like u have been there b4. I was thinking it wld be better to stay off camp. Studio flats goes for 1800-2000 dirhams in areas not too far frm school, and I intend doing my OJT there. If I stay in the school that wld be 5300 dirhams. Please advise. Thanks

Yes I did the course and a shared apartment will cost u that amount per month, don't think that's close to the skl sha oooh, u will still pay for DEWA and internet which is free at the training residence. Traffic in dubai can be crazy in the morning also. 5300 is for ur course duration. About ur ojt in dubai, how do u plan on getting the visa that will enable u do that.. Any relatives or friends over there?? I had serious hard times getting ojt because I didn't have the required visa to do that. I will advice u think that thru first or come back here for ojt. And about the housing! Bros stay for skl jeje... I kinda left a legacy so wen u get there and the instructors are same u will hear my gist

Thanks I have already wired d money today, no be small thing o 236k. Wat legacy did u leave plz share so I can position myself. About d course syllabus how is it different frm jeppesen USA, wat should I know to enhance success. Also wat kind of visa is required to do OJT and d procedures to get it. Thanks
Re: Accommodation In Dubai by yacha77: 7:39am On Aug 03, 2012
Its basically the same wit jeppensen USA, its FAA standard and good course. By legacy I mean from zero experience to one of the best. Pratical dispatch I did over 19 flight plans I a week and this is manual not computer software. To position ur self u need to read hard, for my I never wanted head ache or exams tension so I read well. There is a red book that u will be given in ur second week.. That's the key to passing ur exams but if u depend on that u are in trouble during oral and praticals so understand everything u read. Visa for ojt na wahala, u can either find someone that's has a biz then apply for residency for a year, becareful wit naija boiz for deira(wen u reach u go know deira) do u have prior aviation experience or work at an airline?
Re: Accommodation In Dubai by davoe2000: 7:51am On Aug 03, 2012
I don't have any aviation experience just dat I have interest in aviation probably cos I grew up in sure environment. Getting the exact materials to study is an issue for me, I bought dis gleim soft dat I'm studying now. I want to succeed in dis course.

Gliem is the red book I was talking about. Wit that u can pass. But u need to study ur notes and understand. During my time it was from class to my room, I read die cause I wanted to be remembered. Did tutorials for experience people sef. But once its thurday na club, friday back to books. After my course I stayed an extra month and rocked dubai like a rock star. Sorry bout diff user name(same me)
