Ever imagined that it was Sir Abubakar Tafwa Balewa that laid the foundation of UNILA in 1962, also note that the then Fed Minister of Education then was Sir Aja Nwachukwu, the father of our present minister of education.The pioneer VC was Prof.Eni Njokwu, but the main stuff is that till tomorrow, there is not a single monument in Lag to immortalise or at least appreciate Sir Balewa.shucks   |
