Symptoms are:
1.keeps going off even when battery time has not elasped.
2.cant hibernate, in that each time i switch on behaves as if i shutdown.
3.have to keep setting the time.

It av develop some technical Fault.

There's a cooling fan at either the base or side
of your laptop, canyou hear it running ?

When the laptop turns off, any error message ?

Does the base feel hot ?

What makes and model is your laptop . e.g. dell 1545

When you select hibernation ,what actually happened

Regarding you having to change clock everytime, has the
laptop ever been for repair before ?

1. Bad Battery
2. Malware
3. Bad Battery(Yes, there a small circuit in your batt3 that regulates the clock)

Thanks! Guess i need 2 change the battery,judging by the red "x" that appears on the battery icon. Funny tho d laptop is jst a year old.
