Hi guys. Considering delving into export of solid minerals, agricultural produce etc. Advice needed from experts in the field pls.

@ccambel, I believe you must have done your research about the products you want to export, in terms of available market, Nigeria regulation on the products as well as the destination country regulation on the products. Having done these, you must have a business name and office address for your business. Before you can export anything from Nigeria, you must register your business with the Corporate Affairs Commission, CAC, it cost about 80k, you must also have your export licence, issued by NEPC i.e Nigeria Export Promotion Council, it cost roughly 10k, you must have a Bank current account, you may need a tax clearance, if it is consumable goods, you Will need NAFDAC and possibly SON certificates among other things. You must also consider your mode of transportation, shipping, aircargo etc. It is capital intensive but you can.
