TEXTURES OF DARKNESS

glimpses of foggy feelings
outlined in rough texture of darkness
cataclysmic sadness enshrouded
in sunken sockets
of eerie eyes in broken skull

my fears are my self

immortal thoughts bargaining an end
adult eyes immobiled by painted devil
dilating pupils picturing a final closure
deathly sight of holes of hidden hearts

my fears are my self

unshared soul divided by self
self-shut self-hidden self-sold
in dungeon of nothingness
in cold blood of sudden cessation

i\'ve just posted another poem
in the poetry section; it\'s titled:
gsm [god send mine]

i dont really get poems, but this one seems nice. what is it about?

the poet persona here is expressing
certain feelings that he nurses inside;
negative thoughts that literally eat away
his well-being,

as it appears, from the refrain [the one-line
stanza], his fears are unfounded-
the poet persona strikes one as a depressed mind.

but interestingly, he realizes this,
he sees himself as being isolated from others
mentally and physically,
he ascribes this to his being knocked out of existence
as it were.

in the recesses of your soul;
