I was was wondering how many people use open Source software instead of Microsoft Office in Nigeria. Or How many will switch to a Open Source Software that is free and Works almost like MS Office For example: OpenOffice.org VS Microsoft Office |

well tryng to find out the number of people using open office could be a tedious crusade. i use open office but on a linux platform instead of window, i consider open office as cool as microsoft office, but better cos it's got user support available 24/7 online. |

Thanks Dlux for your Reply. I am just curious why more people in Nigeria are not using Open Source software. they are mostly free and they Provide better Support. For example I found a site called Zimbra.com that offers a cooler email application than Outlook and exchange and it is free. Also all this new open source application are Compatible with Microsoft files. |
