Looking @d 1996 Olympics where we won 3 golds, 1 silver & 3 bronze medals to now, are we moving forward or retrogressing? It's not d athletes's fault. My suspicion? God is angry wit Nigeria's current leadership.

Its neither the fault of our participant nor Coach. Nigeria had always been lucky winning medal at the Olympic without adequate preparation.

While other country prepare for an olympic for good 4 years, we only prepare for just 2 months and we expect miracle to happen as usual.

The early we start getting things right, the better for us.... "Any country that fail to plan is definitely planning to fail".

Being disqualified is definitly not something new, it happens all time. Even almight usain bolt was dequalified for false start during world athletics championship. Several athletes too has been disqualified, during this olympic. So!!!

Nigeria was disqualified for what Regina George did (I think). I love what she did, but it wasnt legal. She jumped places rather than wait for the baton. I think she also clashed with Sherry Drayton. I think she has shown enough zeal. Three of the gals who ran for us will be peaking around the next olympics, I believe we have hope for then, if only our administrators are ready.

I listened to the super sports interview of Okagbare and Tosin. From Tosin's input, it was obvious that the problem was from the sports administrators. In his own words, 'rubbish performance for rubbish preparation'. Okagbare was more specific, she hinted that the officials take certain decisions that dont go well with them the atlethes. I pray that the atlethes dont defect to other countries. Tosin, the tripple jumper looked angry, and blamed the poor preparation.

Who told you the Nigerian athletes didn't prepare? These guys are athletes, they just don't go to sleep after the Olympics. They go back to their clubs, to train and compete in other competitions. Their best wasn't just good enough to compete against the world. Nigerian coaches need to look for talent in secondary schools and primary schools where they can be trained. There is need to introduce a scholarship scheme for athletes and also all schools should have a well equipped sport facilities. Well it is a pity that private schools has taken over the important role of public schools in our society and these private schools, even with the huge tuition fees, impact little knowledge to kids. So lets prepare our minds for poor outing in Brazil. The same thing applies to football.

Even if she wasen't disqualified, What's the proof She'ws gonna win anyways.
