heard it long ago that the Governor said the New teachers will undergo another biometric, thats y our confirmation letter is stepped down, but NUT said no problems but he should pay all d arrears before embarking on that. any this info is subject to verification from higher authorities.

From my source -- Nothing like that as far as ICT Dept is concerned, it may be the teachers qualifications or some other check, but it canot be biometric, as that has been done. ICT Department is currenly doing LGA workers, and they cannot finish before jan/feb next year.. also the ICT adviser is not aware of any such... my source who works there asked with style..

Those that were promoted are still receiving salary amount of 1932 yet they want to do verification to promote workers... Let government implement the promoted salary

The best way to check this things is through the biometrics which was done in the Government house. If that one fail with all the security and seriousness, it may be difficult for any other method to succeed. That is why we are worst than a third world nation....always doing things the left way.

Agreed, but we should realise dat de exercise done at govt house was to biometricly verify the staff, and was a technical one, ICT does not have enough knowledge or authority to check teacher credentials and certificates, the cross checking of correct educational qualifications should be done following NCE standard, by education ministry and the boards themselves... that is my understanding...

If they like, let them do 100 checking and cross checking, in as much as our money will keep on coming monthly, I have no problem with them.
