I was mad at her, but being the person that I am - I thought of a way to recover deleted images from my Sony Memory Stick, and yes I found a way!

The First thing you should do is Stop taking pictures with the Digital Camera as that will ruin your chances of recovering the Pictures. Then download the software provided at the end of this Topic.

Although, If you Google for a way to retrieve pictures, you will find so many softwares, but most of them are sharewares,

Well, I have been in a similar situation as yours Ralvy. But, in my case I myself had accidentally deleted entire pictures from my laptop  . Along with some unwanted files I had also deleted my pictures folder using the Shift+Del keys. I got them all recovered using Digital Media Data Recovery Software. If anyone need to recover their lost pictures, images or videos you can give it a shot.

The data recovery wont work on SONY CYBERSHOTS CAMERAS if the picture files were deleted on the camera itself and not on a PC!

I tried it out on 2 SONY models with all the softwares listed on this thread and no recovery was possible. I think SONY actually "erases" (Fill the memory locations with 0s or 1s) the files on delete.

If you have accidentally deleted or lost photos and videos from digital cameras, for example such as from Canon camera. Well, it doesn’t matter for what reason your photo gets deleted or lost from camera card.

If you have not added any new data on it then you can easily recover photos from Canon camera or from any other digital camera card with the help digital camera photo recovery software.

But before using photo recovery software to restore deleted images from camera card, you can try few following things:

• First check whether you have kept backup of your photo of your camera memory card to some other place. If you have kept backup, then you can get back your pictures from backup.
• If backup is not available, then you can use camera photo recovery software.
