Our girls made 2many short passes causin them 2 commit 2many fouls. They ar terrible at defendin set pieces. I didn't watch d game against S. Korea bt if this is d much dey can offer den dey can't pass d semis cos d likes of Japan, Germany, USA can punish them.

Nigeria is on 4 points and would face italy( if they lose they still have 4 points, if they win, they qualify)
Brazil is on 2 points and would face korea ( If they win, they have 5 points, they definitely would beat korea)
Italy (1 point) would play against korea (0 point)(if italy wins, they have 4 points)--(then they would face Nigeria if they win, 7 points)
korea is on 0 points, they are prolly the less fancied here( so i would just leave them out)
there is still much to play for, too much competition between Nigeria, Brazil and Italy. Nigeria just like causing themselves headache, when they can easily progress.

When Nigeria plays,we will be under pressure and needing prayers to get decent results as if God is meant for us alone and that our oponent dont pray too.Will there ever be a time when we will have much confidence in all our teams?It remain to be seen.Anyway,not a bad result at all.I wish them the best.

Nigeria went into the second half with the intention of protecting the one goal lead. The chant of hay hay hay by the Nigerian fans may also have contributed to the young girls losing composure in the second half. The injury to the falconets goalkeeper compounded the issue. Overall its a decent result. EEven the play that led to Brazil free kick from which they scored, should have been a foul against them before it got to that stage, perhaps, the referee was upset with Nigeria time wasting tactics.

My advise for the next game, is that the defense should be discipline with area balls. The defenders shouldn't allow crosses to drop to opponents or land. The first choice keeper should rest her ankle very well and should be prevented from taking goal kicks with the leg if she got fit for the Italy game.

They are doing us proud.
