Yes, I posed this question to highlight the moral ambiguity that is embedded in much of religious doctrine. especially when the they come here to thump their chests about their superior moral authority.

In John 3:16  For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Here its very clear that God sent Jesus to die for the world including sinners like you. He obviously didn't ask him to kill himself.

So when next you read the bible, pray to God for proper understanding.

God repented that's why he gave us his son Jesus as our direct passage to him.
