kokobi99: Which riches kwa? There comes a time when the amount of money you have does not matter....rest of mind, quality of life and a good environment for children's growth and learning superceeds! I would rather earn NGN50,000 but live in a sane environment, than earn NGN100,000 in a place where O have to supply the basic amenities of life myself (Must buybgen before you have constant electricity, must dig your own borehole to have constant water, must earn a shtload of money before your kids can get quality education....and must have even more money before your kids can get a universally accepted degree) Obviously, you are still single....priorities change when you have a family to think about. 10 Likes 1 Share |

kokobi99: Although, you didn't address this post to me but I will like to correct an erroneous impression. Not everyone seeking to relocate is doing so because of money. Money shouldn't be the motivating factor for everything someone does. If money is, then the person is very very poor and cannot be RICH no matter the amount of money s/he has. There is something called quality of life. Have you ever wondered why the UN rates life expectancy for sane countries higher than that of "insane" countries like ours? It is not because they have more money but because they have an organised society that allows growth, healthy environment, competitions, equal opportunities etc (I am not saying they have a perfect environment but they have a process you can exploit to your advantage all things being equal). Some dreams can be achieved in a particular location because it is where such dreams are encouraged and empowered to be actualized. Many reasons I can tell you aside money for why people relocate but time wouldn't permit. So my brother, it is not about making more money. If it is, Nigeria is one of the easiest places on Earth to hit millions. 8 Likes 1 Share |

Both of you are correct but i will still maintain my word, if i am in her shoes with all this millions am hearing i will not think of leaving this sweet country. I also want to travel because i dont have job if not, i cant go to a foreign land and start life afresh. How many years remaining for me on earth. I have seen people who won american visa and still ignore it that they are better off in Nigeria. In your university count how many lecture you have, most of them studied abroad but they are living in Nigeria, you didnt ask them why because you want quality education for your children while some even have children in abroad and bring them back to Nigeria for quality training. Even if i eventually travel, its for temporary though. 2 Likes |

All this children am hearing while not train them where they can know you, marry good wife and husband as case may be instead of training them for their govt. Or you never know that your child will belong to govt not you proper |

Re: General Australian Visa Enquiries by equlibrium(m): 12:25pm On Jan 15, 2015 |
bossladyMo:true been a banker/finance advisor for 8years now, your credit is as bad as you make it. credit cards are actually very vital for credit rating tracking in mature economies, not nigeria. take one, buy small(and I mean small vital) stuff with it! You have to actually use it to get the benefits of the ratings that come with it. Then be seen to be paying it off properly and promptly. Its one of the 1st things I would advise anyone to get once you leave these shores, IF YOUR HEAD IS SCREWED ON RIGHT THAT IS!!! |

Ladies and gentlemen, I jet off 4th February to my base in Perth! It hasn't been easy in Nigeria, life! A country where nothing works, my prayer is for my kids to never have to go through what I went through to get where I am. Anyways, thanks to all who started and kept this forum running, the dictator justwise(take a joke for once in your life man), my mortal enemy jenny(gone offline, still with us in spirit), bossladymo and all the others to numerous to mention. its a long trip and an even longer life plan(2years msc at my age no b beans men), but having waited for sanity to come to Nigeria, and with no end to that wait in sight, I now leave that wait to more able people like that character that says husband and wife for your unborn children is one of the reasons to stay and wallow in the mediocrity my country has become. I'm so fecking excited, this is probably the biggest life decision I will ever make, but its time to leave my comfort zone, do something new everyday of my life and actually live! I will always come here to update all of you of the wonders my eyes will see from the moment I arrive and as I tour Australia, Viva Oz... 3 Likes |
