My ONLY advice, if u are on BBplan with other mobiles or pc apart from BB devices don't call CC. Nairaland phone section have already provided all whats needed.

And think about this, Bolt went out of because of lack of money. Opera mini in recent times have been pushing for Operator Ad sponsored revenue to keep up their servers and data centers. These serve over 80 billion pages per month.

I am not on BB plan. But I just download UC cloud and it is everything Opera mini is and more so I don't have a problem switching but they could have at least had the courtesy of informing customers first

Check ur apn or settings. It shud be internet*ng*airtel*com leave the rest blank

Mynd_44: Like the topic reads, customers using Opera mini can no longer surf the internet with that browser for reason known to them. This hit me in the face this evening as I wanted to log into NL from my phone but my Opera was not connecting. I thought it was a network error but discovered that my other applications were working fine. I pulled out my sim card and inserted my MTN and the opera worked.
Pissed, I called their customer service and was told that I can not browse with Opera as long as I was on Airtel's network as they have cut it off.
Is anyone else experiencing this or is it just me?
I used Airtel network but i don't give A damm about their internet browsing. ETISALAT ALL THE WAY

Use another browser. If you don't have another, download IC web cloud.
It is almost as good as Opera mini

I am in benin edo state. i use opera mini on my nokia ci to browse using opera mini, INFACT IT STOPPED WORKING YESTERDAY NIGHT, I TOT IT WAS NETWORK PROBLEM BUT I COULD STILL BROWSE WITH MTN SIM ON THE SAME PHONE..FROM THE POST I HAVE BEEN READING HERE, I HAVE NOT READ AN OFFICIAL STATEMENT FORM AIRTEL

MTN was the first to ban opera mini sometime last year until they had some agreement and came up with a branded opera . I think that is what airtel is going for

shocked am not airtel staff o. I mean there will soon be a way to go round it and get ur opera working again. With the little assessment I did since morning, I think it affect those using the bb plan on non blackberry phones. I might be wrong though. but am still using my opera shaaa.

With 23 cedis(N2300) I can get Unlimited access for a month in Ghana.

Its true for me.Ive been unable to use Opera mini on Airtel since yesterday night.I inserted my Etisalat now and its working perfectly.
