Strands Events and Productions is a resource development and event management company with the principal objective of organizing programs and events that have the capacity of bringing services providers closer to the consuming community. It is our belief that before the end of this century, we will emerge as a leading resource development and event management company in Africa with a direct impact across the continent on economic, social development and capacity building.

In December 2006 the maiden edition of the Students Trade Fair was held. The fair attracted close to 30 exhibitors, the major ones being: GTB, Intercellular, Starcomms, Beauty Fair Laboratories, Ultra, Mona Matthew, Toptech Computers, Mara Books, Digiprints, etc. the four (4) days event was graced by close to eighty thousand visitors. The huge success recorded during the maiden edition of the fair and the encouragement from our major exhibitors has compelled us to immortalize it as an annual event.
Consequently, we are pleased to formally invite you to the second edition of the students’ trade fair holding between 11th and 16th of feburary,2008 at the University of Lagos Sport Centre.  It is going to be a 6-days event that will afford manufacturers, distributors and other service providers an opportunity to exhibit their products not only to students and staffs of all Tertiary Institutions within Lagos but also other Tertiary Institutions in neighboring states (Ogun, Oyo, Osun, etc) and indeed the general public.

Statistically, it is on record that students constitute close to 60% of the Nigerian consuming populace, there is therefore, no better environment for product promotion and marketing than a trade fair within the ambit of a higher institution. We want to assure you that with the envisage publicity for this years fair, we expect nothing less than One Hundred & Fifty Thousand visitors and counting. We equally expect the participation of students in states like: Kwara, Edo & Delta. It will be a worthwhile investment.
