In the days of SLATE and CHALK, I always receive 5 or 10kobo from my teacher for either doing my homework correctly or answering question in the class. I was the dangote of my class and will spend 5kobo to buy ice cream for all my guys. I think this is mallam's plan, Lets watch.

Did well! 10kobo = 10 (sweet alangba) while 30kobo = 1 doughnut, days when coke(thick bottle) was 70kobo and crush/seveup family was 65kobo. 1 kobo was fading out then but then we still gather 5 and spend. N1 (red and later green coulour) was the big boys money sprayed at parties. Things don spoil no be small. 5 Likes |

At a time 10kobo bought you a plate of ewa goin, and a small loaf of bread(bun) back in the day. You got some cool tasting rice with 10 kobo, and another one of those would get you good kpomo and two eggs on your rice or yam porridge. 5 Likes |

My daily allowance in early Primary school was one Naira...Then inlation started setting in and a bottle of coke was 2 Naira 50 kobo. By the time i saw in primary 5, lucozade boost was 5 Naira. Unfortunately, inflation is soon going to set in and prices will go through the roof with the introduction of the #5,000 notes. SLS ONLY SEEMS TO BE FAVORING THESE PEOPLE. |
