why not reinstall mac OS?

ibook g4 is not called a PC. It's a mac and its not made for windows.
ibook G4 runs on a ppc processor which is not native to windows, so you need an emulator to be able to
run windows on your mac. I use a mac and love using it (I love my mac). For G4 you may buy microsoft virtual pc on the net or Iemulator or a free Q virtualization software to be able to run windows(google fot it). If you can buy macbook pro (a new mac laptop); u will be able to install windows straight up. i installed windows on a macbook pro just yesterday. But why on earth would you want to install windows on your mac? answer this question and i will help u wt ur mac. I ve configured multilinks on my mac (ibook g4) and

As said earlier on. Not possible to install Windows on a G4 machine. Install MAc OS Panther on it. and you should enjoy it for a long time. If am right, it should have an inbuilt network card( Ethernet) so you can connect to the internet through a router
