Till today, Nigerian government spend huge amount of money training students abroad
but there is no obligation for this students to return home and serve their country for atleast a short period of time
like many other countries do.Many students from other countries of Africa for example; Ghana,Namiba.Zambia etc according to conditons of their schorlaship must return home to their respective country and give some few years service as a pay back and contribution to their country. If we take into account the huge amount of money the Nigerian government spend on training these students abraod, wouldn't it be neccessary for this students to give back a little service to the country before they can choose to work esle where.Usaully many nigerian graduates abroad prefer to stay back oversea after training without even caring to return home.So what does Nigerian government get in sponsoring these students?,hence after graduation the give away all these potentials to other countries. How does this help the country or economy.Besides everybody knows that schorlaship is granted mostly to talented and exellent students and Nigeria which is still very underdeveloped can easily give away these talents to the developed countries.I know this issue my concern many of Nigerians in diaspora but I would like everyone to look at this in objective way rather reacting personal.Need your cooments!!!

smileyOf course no reasonable person would want to find himself into a place with such
reputations, but we are talking of those that were sent away with the tax money got from our poor citizens
to go to a foreign land and learn something, probably something that Nigeria may lack in their stock! smileyOf course no reasonable person would want to find himself into a place with such

For example a osun and kano state recently soppose almost 500 student each for masters this will cost both less then 3 to 4 billion each , which they will just paids once that all, but if both state required all the 500 student to come and work for them after their masters it will cost both state huge some of money for example the average for level 9 employee in state civil service is 80k a month and other benefits it will cost the government 100 to 200 million each. Thus making almost 2 billion every year.
