This is to inform GT Bank savings account online users that the internet portal for third party transactions has been restored. I guess new security measures and upgrades have been taken against potential hackers and ID thieves this time around. I have attached a copy of the mail I received from them last Friday.

I got the mail too,i was contemplating opening a current account already, i am glad i wouldn't have to do bother about that anymore.

I would also need to know this. . .someone please answer. If it's online for Gtb - Gtb accont transfers, then it's pointless. Besides, are there charges associated with the transfers?

I think you can only transfer to other banks if you are a current account holder. However, I'm not sure if savings account holders have been included for interbank transfers.

How do I get the online payment alert. I mean when someone pays into my account, how do I apply so that I can login a check my account details? Does this come with an sms alert? What are the charges involved for such service?
