TITLE OF THE JOB: TEACHER (YORUBA, IGBO, HAUSA & EFIK)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• To plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourage students to develop and fulfill their academic potential.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences.
• Develop schemes of work and lesson plans.
• Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
• Prepare classroom for class activities.
• Provide a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities.
• Identify and select different instructional resources and methods to meet students' varying needs.
• Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment.
• Use relevant technology to support instruction.
• Observe and evaluate student's performance and development.
• Assign and grade class work, homework, tests and assignments.
• Provide appropriate feedback on work.
• Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development.
• Update all necessary records accurately and completely as required by laws, state policies and school regulations.
• Prepare required reports on students and activities.
• Manage student behaviour in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures.
• Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school.
• Apply appropriate disciplinary measures where necessary.
• Perform duties including but not limited to student support, counseling students with academic problems and providing student encouragement.
• Participate in extracurricular activities such as social activities, sporting activities, clubs and student organizations.
• Participate in department and school meetings, parent meetings.
• Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues and parents regarding student progress and student needs.
• Keep up to date with developments in subject area, teaching resources and methods and make relevant changes to instructional plans and activities.

QUALIFICATION AND BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

• A degree in Education or a Post Graduate Degree in Education in (Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa & Efik).
• Must be IT literate and proficient in the operation of Microsoft office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Letter of appointment from the last or current place of employment.
• Age 30-40 years and minimum of 3 years cognitive experience

• Responsible for all clerical duties that are necessary to run the organization efficiently

• Must demonstrate attention to details and work excellently under pressure

JOB LEVEL: MID-LEVEL

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in and contribute to the consultative sales process from lead generation through contract negotiation and close.
• Manage dedicated and non-dedicated resources to deliver significant new business across the organization.
• Drive the identification and qualification of new business leads
• Nurture prospects to find specific opportunities, prepare & oversee the RFP development process and actively work to close new business

QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of HND or Bachelors’ Degree
• Min. 1-3 years of experience in a marketing/sales environment...
• Must be able to independently manage lead generation and qualification, work with internal teams to build team-selling approach, call on accounts, develop outstanding sales proposals, and effectively close new business initiatives.
• Must have excellent writing and presentation skills.
• Must be able to handle highly flexible work schedule including travel.
• Preferably between 24 – 30 years old
