Hmm.. Thats nice. Bro, i revamped my reading pattern. This time i dnt read those straight hours anymore. I figured out that the straight hours i did for my jamb only benefited my bio and eng, but it didn't help my phy and chem that much, becos i was just having a go at my phy and i didn't give myself tym to check hw well i understood the concept (u knw d pressure to cover the syllabus was there) Now, i just study my phy for less than 1hr with plenty of rest and space, i made up flash cards were i write the many formulars down, and also some important concept, and everymorning i check them up.. I practise with questions and i can now easily recall d formulars, something i had a problem with during the jamb preparation. For the jamb, bio and eng were our strong holds, hw about having all four as strong holds for the p-utme? Cheers bro.
Nice one, I don't really support straight up reading atmost 45 mins with 10 mins breaks for other things.. Read actively not passively success is urz

NDU has full accreditation, with a quota of admitting 50 students, I'm just worried about how good the lecturers and the teaching hospital is, considering its a relatively new school.

Thanks for the COC info, mehn dude you just made my day. I know a standard cafe that does COC, ama pay them a visit this week.

@Bolded something tells me you don't really mean that
There's only one way to be sure bro... Come to AAUCOM grin LOL

rate of cultism in AAU has dropped drastically. The few cult activities and other nefarious acts in AAU occur in d main campus, the college of medicine has absolutely zero cultism.....the college of medicine can be said to be the only well organised and serious part of the school but I agree with jason555, AAU is very very very corrupt (especially in terms of giving admission).............currently a year one microbiology student there. Looking to get admitted to medicine dis year......wish 2 have u all as my coursemates at AAUCOM later dis year

LOL... AAUCOM like ultron has said is cool bhu dha structures there ain't standard... AAUCOM is 50N bike from AAU .. In AAUCOM , we have our own head. It's just like two separate schools bhu same name . lemme explain using this way saying a lecturer in the main Campus will nad be able to help you with admission in AAUCOM.. Ah even heard COM post ume scripts are been marked in AAUCOM.... Bhu in all, even the AAUCOM is even corrupt... Bhu in all sha, what to do.. LOL

Good day, fellow nairalanders, I have some questions to ask and I will be glad to get responses.
Am a final year student of unilorin studying BSc Biochemistry, am in 2'1 and am hoping to go for medicine through DE.
is it appropriate to take DE form before serving or after?
The new directives of NUC, do u guys think it will be implemented this year?
Lastly, which school do u think is better in lieu of accreditation and easy admission?

I think an NYSC certificate is needed... not sure tho

The new directives of NUC, do u guys think it will be implemented this year?
NUC debunked the claim. also only MDCN can increase or decrease the number of years in med skul..... so its still 7 years, six years for D.E aspirants

Lastly, which school do u think is better in lieu of accreditation and easy admission?
Any of the 27 accredited schools re good... for easy admission. northern federal universities and state universities

The NUC published that Bsc holders in paramedics discipline like biochemistry, physiology and anatomy will use four year instead of seven years once the directives is implement.
will try to send the link

Apparently, something like that was stated page 296 of this thread

Its kul sha, buh I'm not seeing anywhere MDCN agreed to such terms.... unless MDCN agrees, I doubt it will push through. well let's wait for the D.E aspirants for this year to tell us which level they were admitted into, cus they're supposed to move straight to Clinicals.

Hello house. I'm glad to see that this thread is still moving forward. I have also observed the unprecedented number of newbies and admission seekers on this thread, it's a thing of joy to see that the passion to save humanity with your intellect is still burning high in you all. In my position as someone that has been in your shoes before, I advice that you all stay put and remain resolute in your quest to move higher on the academic ladder. To the low JAMB scorers, remember that you are as good as the high JAMB scorers, prepare adequately for your post ume bearing in mind that there's an answer to all the questions that you are going to meet on that day, so a 100% is not an illusion but a possibility. Don't be discouraged, cast all your fears on the Lord because he cares for you, i wish you all God's speed and best that life has to offer.
For those still contemplating change of institution, from research, I think university of ibadan is best school to consider now, if and only if you have a 200 and above, you are as good as any other person, because the admission is based 100% on your post ume scores, no tribalism, no runs, no catchment area.....Though I'm not a student of that school, but all I have said are verifiable truth.
I wish you all the best.
