AK97:I don't think that score is feasible for dentistry in UI. You can change to a less competitive course. Just a piece of advice though. |

AK97:Mr.AK97, with all sincerity, that's rather childish. By your response, you feel DrOptimistic has written you off or you feel he looks down on you. See, everyone's got better things to bother about than mocking people. He was only giving his opinion. His opinion about the feasibility of your cause isn't the hallmark of opinions, ok. You don't always have to go daggers about a mere comment. Now, the cut-off mark for Dentistry at Ibadan last year is 70. You had 247. 247/8= 30.875. 70-30.875= 39.125 39.125 X 2= 78.25 (Minimum score you need to have in the post utme) Although you should aim to get more than that. I wish you the very best. 4 Likes |

Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by DrOptimistic: 1:21pm On May 29, 2019 |
AK97:Amen!!! It is not that I have written you off or want to discourage you. No! What will I gain by doing that? If you think you can score 78+ in putme, then you are good to go. Gaining admission these days is not about having high score but being well informed and making the right decision. My naivety and not well informed cost me my admission in 2017. 3 Likes |

emmysolo2001:Hello there, 200 is a relatively low score to study any science related course with, but I'd advice you go for physiology and other basic science courses, it will improve your chances of gaining admission into Uniuyo. Wish you good luck in ur quest. PM for more info/help. 1 Like |

coolxpaul:its a herculian task to get medicine with that score in any public school except you've got connections even with post utme but you can score at least 300 in unical and get dentistry depending on your state of origin though |

coolxpaul: Ayah. 208 utme score for medicine anywhere in Nigeria is like trying to make water flow up hill. Although, if there is any university that give minimal priority to utme score, 208 will give a very good fight.. But, within the limitation of my knowledge, I do not know of any good medical school that can put 208 in a contending position. |

Donwyz: Fellow, Ur reply/advise should have been medicine inclined alone. That's what the dude wants to know about considering his jamb score. Dont try to infuse Dentistry to it. Dentistry is a brand on its own. Thank you. 1 Like |

coolxpaul: My guy, u tried, ur score was above 200 atleast, buh lets step up our game and see how admission to medicine can come through. Except u'lld want to apply to a state school, even at that, 208 is kindof low dont u think? Microbiology will be hard to get with that if u ask me. 2 Likes 1 Share |
