adaobi123: Also Kenyan love potatoes, why ? Oh we have them in plenty all over the country.A kenyan meal without potatoes is If I lack potatoes in my house I feel sick. See,while you guys pound cassava we pound potatoes. That is the difference. Potatoes make variety of dishes.I love boiling frying and dipping in what we call kachumbari. pendo89: ^^^ You can eat as much as you want,I prefer chicken or fish-white meat. At the bolded - A full English breakfast! Those Mahamris look good! |
Re: African Cuisine by pendo89(f): 12:30am On Mar 29, 2013 |
Black Kenichi:yummy. But make sure they are coastal mahamris. You can be given mandazis' which resemble them but the manadazi's arent that tasty. Now this breakfast of yours we all know it.lol. You forgot the juice, the cereal, pancake, coffee and the fruits. Damn I skip breakfast most of the time but I can carry a mahamri to the office and enjoy with tea. And no I can't eat eggs more than twice a week plus I don't like oily stuff in the mornings esp. |

pendo89: I'll take your word on the first sentence. I like juice. Can't have cereal, like most people around the world I'm lactose intolerant. Don't mind pancakes. Can't stand coffee or tea. Love fruit. I can eat fruit all day! |
Re: African Cuisine by pendo89(f): 12:36am On Mar 29, 2013 |
ok.Coffee is my middle name.Another kenyan drink.I don't like tea unless it's spiced-we call it tea masala.I have to spice up everything I think that's enough.I could have posted more from other tribes but I don't see them on internet. I am still shocked by the potatoes thing. Is that why the west eats lots of cassavas and yams? |
