The news just reaching me has said the Federal Government has CANCELED the earlier plan to introduce the N5,000 note. |

The Legislative arm of goverment kicked against the CBN's plan to introduce the supposed N5,000 note thereby allowing the Federal Government and CBN suspending the introduction of the N5,000 note. |

@Post That is wonderful! I was not in support of those 5,000 naira notes from day one. Introducing 5,000 naira notes into our currency would just make it easier for our politicians to loot large sums of money in smaller bags. |

I earlier called for Nigerians of all ages, tribe and religion to unite and kick against the introduction of the note. Weeks later Dino Melaye led others to Abuja (CBN headquaters ) to kick against it and now we have victory on our side.
