Oga I too can't believe what Abagworo said cos no one knows tomorrow. But truth be told, ORO as you always called him has done extremely well. Atleast pictures are there to serve as evidence.

I'm grateful the way Igboland is taking shape, may God bless us more.

The last October action of Okorocha who set up a committee to relocate IMSUTH Orlu to Owerri is most damaging to Orlu, and most infuriating to its people.

Yes Rochas has developed only Owerri. built all his major development projects in Owerri; but his deliberate abandonment of the road to IMSUTH for the last five years, then turns now and tells his acolytes whom he calls stake holders in Orlu that IMSUTH is not viable in Orlu, - that's a most brazen day-light deception.

This is the road to IMSUTH as it is in the last five years; during the rainy season, only a most daring vehicle would enter the road to IMSUTH, ORO left the road to make IMSUTH not viable in Orlu, so that he can exchange it with Owerri for his private Eastern Palm University in his home town.

Don't they have community development union? 70yrs is much, this is unlike other Igbo communities.

Richmen among them should do something, this sounds too shameful.

Rochas Okorocha has built dual carriageways from Owerri to Orlu and several within Orlu town and another from Orlu to Urualla and presently another is to kick off from Orlu to Nkwerre. In addition to these he has built 15km of rural roads in all the LGAs and is presently building another 33km in Ideato North alone. No Governor can equal that record in the next 50 years in addition to free education from primary to tertiary level.

Na wah o!
For this bare faced lie you made, I'm about to ask Amadioha to pay you a visit. Haba! Take it easy with the lying shocked
Your ass licking has gone beyond an illness. What does Rochas pay you for all the disgusting lies you post on his behalf?
If you don't specifically state the 15km stretch of roads built in every LGA in Imo state, then you deserve more than the curses some guys on this thread have been throwing at you. Nothing wrong with image laundering. But you don't do it by plucking fictitious tales and lies from the air.

Beautiful edifice.
Because it is owned by the church, i know they will do the needful with proper landscaping to make the environment a true retreat land.

Like I've always stated Okorocha cannot pay me because I am well off and don't need his or anybody's money. If you know him or any of his aides ask them if I've opened any of the mails they sent here on Nairaland . I'm all for the truth and nothing more.

Then start listing the roads in all LGAs you just claimed Rochas administration built.
Whether you get paid or not isn't a big issue compared with this epilepsy inducing lie you just told.

Start listing the 15km roads built in all the LGAs. I'm waiting to see them. angry

That Orlu you mention, the inner city roads are shiit if you fork off that one road from Owerri to Ideato. Stories are that the present Imo government has little or no regard for the people.

This is Nkwerre section of same road which Okorocha will soon dualise to join Orlu part. Orlu to Nkwerre is a distance of about 6 km with urban sprawl joining the 2 towns which makes it a bit difficult for a stranger to notice and the sprawl joins Amaigbo after Nkwerre. In essence Orlu, Nkwerre and Amaigbo belong to one semi-urban area.

Guy, guess why that Orlu is classiffied by the new WHO Release as one of the five most polluted cities in Nigeria.

I agree because I just returned from Imo last week. I praised the Imo governor to some extent, the governor not bad in the state capital.
But I wowed for that Orlu; inside the town, off this major road, the roads are shiit, either abandoned or plain raw.
Garbage dumps were circled by vehicles as roundabouts. Dust from the streets coated all houses. It's like the Orlu is abandoned by government, true; even state government traffic wardens who clustered in junctions at the state capital, some taking style to beg money from motorists, you can't find even one outside the capital, there's hardly police, unlike in the capital at every short distance.
A few persons in the Orlu recounted that the governor is not in love with the place.

But if I am your governor, I wouldn't condescend to becoming so petty and mean to my subjects because I have power.

You are lying bro. Orlu is not a large city to even be classified and the urban center has one of the best roads in Nigeria. You can hardly find unpaved road in the urban area now. Maybe one to three streets only.
Even Okigwe has good inner roads as well. The difference with Orlu is that Orlu town has about 6 good dual carriage ways while Okigwe has one bad dual carriageway.

If I had known, I would have snapped pictures of the roads I saw in Imo. I am not talking about the six dual carriage ways you said are in Orlu. I am talking about the other internal untarred roads that are a disaster - red dust. Such roads can be in a village but not allowed in urban clusters.
