"i think diasporan blacks should really adopt the name and concept of the nuwaupians." You mean the same Nuwaupians playing dress up while walking throughout miniature Egyptian temples off in backwoods Georgia? Mmmm.....I'on know bout dat'n buddy. That said I respect the fact that they arrived at their own beliefs independent of European dogma. As I like to say... 1. Freedom is a necessity but not enough. Choices are predicated on what you know at the time of calculating a decision. If I control what you know I control the range of your possible choices. 2. Knowledge is a necessity but not enough. Knowledge derives it's usefulness from being processed when calculating a decision. The smaller the range of process you are capable of carrying out the less you can do with what you know. 3. Processing(intelligence) is a necessity but not enough. There are a series of Processes done in executing a plan. If you have no plan your interests are subject to those who do have a plan. Be that in using your ability to process knowledge to further their plans(not yours) or simply by your interests being displaced in the execution of their plans. 4. Plans are a necessity but not enough. Plans are simply a means to accomplishing a goal. If you have no goals in life your interests are subject to those who do have a goal. Be that in using your ability to plan and/or process knowledge to further their goals(not yours) or simply by your interests being displaced in the execution of their goals. 5. There are more but I can successfully reply without stating the rest While I commend the Nuwaupians for being able to accomplish the goal of feeding, clothing, and sheltering their people free of the terms/choices Europeans laid out for them. I question both... 1.The range of processes they were able to employ on the knowledge they had. (Which led to their inability to defend against the U.S. Gov) And 2.The extent to which their dogma impeded absorption, development, & execution of new knowledge and processes. |

RandomAfricanAm: lmao! no that's not what i mean, besides that was Dr. York and his ppl. I'm talking the dudes who still go about their normal lives but have their own language and preach self reliance while being model citizens. They teach their kids about their heritage and still explain to them that it's not ok to blame the "white man" for our fck ups. That is what I am about and what I am saying we should practice as a people. That said I respect the fact that they arrived at their own beliefs independent of European dogma. exactly!! As I like to say... Everything you said above most of those brothers support. Make no mistake, in fact they say it! Being educated, preaching about the necessity of building a unified culture and learning how to survive within the system or outside with plans A-Z are all that ppl like us believe in. Personally I am tired of the debates and the preaching, but the reason i listen to certain individuals in the RBG as well as the nuwaupian camps is because those brothers put ACTION to their words. Seti has issues with people questioning his intentions but when it comes to Polite & Nucovenant I know he puts in work!! They homeschool their kids, or if their kids are in public schools they make sure they show up to their events/ parent teacher conferences and even look out for the kids that are not even theirs. They make the kids listen to their debates and teach them about their heritage but encourage individualism. They travel the country and talk to anyone who will listen or want to know. Polite even promotes sovereignty (discussing how you're not truly a citizen of this nation if you do not own property which is sooo true!) and TEACHING other blacks how to fend for themselves and not rely on the government. I'm not saying they are perfect because even with the sovereignty thing you have issues and loop holes however it is much better than what the Hebrew Israelites, the NBPP and those "Nation of Islam" guys are talking about. While I commend the Nuwaupians for being able to accomplish the goal of feeding, clothing, and sheltering their people free of the terms/choices Europeans laid out for them. @bolded I'm not really a conspiracy theorist BUT You know that with the charges pended up against Dr. York along with all of the former members who went against him, he nor the organization stood a chance. lol A nigger who was regarded as a saint among his own is automatically viewed as an "enemy of the state" and they were itching to get hands on him. That was made easy not too long ago when members who had personal gripes with him decided to inform on him, all of whom are now singing their regrets @ anyone who will listen. Prior to that he was pretty much unstoppable. Many ppl wanted him and organization dead but they had a brotherhood and lived by what they spoke on until that issue happened. Now what polite wants to do is EXERCISE his rights and use the law against the law rather than fight it. @Your second point/question, Personally I feel him when he says a lot of work needs to be done. His biggest strength is the "process of elimination" method he tends to use when discussing what diaspora blacks need in order to elevate as a UNIT. As far as "dogma" well that's what he wants to ESTABLISH. He's trying to basically build a culture from scratch really. He does so by reasoning with brothers and sisters to find out what will work and what must go such as sexism, hatred (of other races and of our own/Africans), religion, and other issues that may hinder plans to make blacks more unified. The promotion of secrecy, restoration of what it truly means to 'honor thy brother' and to have self respect etc etc is his aim. No, it's not gonna be easy and of course there is no way to make it so that all established laws, principles, or ideologies will satisfy ALL black ppl ALL of the time but the first step is all about finding ways to come to a common ground and then to build from there, which is what he is trying to do and is what I support. |
