Its in the hope that people like urfriend, who is an insider with hitv will get the messages across. And yes, I have a right to make them aware of other services available out there. don't you see how silly you sound by saying we shouldnt complain? I advice you to let those involved ie subscribers and the insiders handle their business here. |

As a subscriber, u definately have the right to, sometime admonish,supportive and complain where necessary. U also have the right of choice, so my question is, Do we need any announcement from soloqy as regards his change of choice when there is no notification from him when he was choosing hitv on this thread? @adewoyin, Reading through your post, am just lost as to what to tell you; should I say "good for you" or "see what we talking about". Anyway it's good that you have experienced first hand what most of us here have been going through all this while. @all, 've been talking to your urfriend lately and his tone is not encouraging at all about coming of those new channels. Yesterday, he said kidsco might be added today, discovery next week (they are asking for payment in advance), and setanta later, due to some logistics problem with DHL. The gist her is that we might not get any new channel added till probably next week. |

We can all see that anyone who comes in here and say we shouldnt complain, either is not a subscriber, is a staff of hitv, or just doesnt pay for subscription. If you pay for subscription at hitv and go through the hell we all go through, am sure that person would be the first person to complain here. |

The advert on their site used to be coming this october, which "committed" them to the month of october. Right now it has changed to coming soon, thereby throwing the date open to their own interpretation of soon. |

adewoyin: the last but one activation i made was in gtb idimu before it was disconnected 2 days ago and BEDLAM,MELEE,QUAGMIRE et al were words that could described what happened that day.I paid some days before the Manu Liverpool match,10th sept precisely,and didnt get activated thus i decided to go to HItv myself on the 13th of Sept,and guess what, i hope a nairalander who's better @ puttin is Thoughts to words if he/she was there would do better than me as am lost for words right now.It was chaotic and shambolic.People were stepping on each other and eventually HITV management invited members of the police force   to come and intimidate and harass people who av paid their hard earned for activation.Their customer oo[b][/b].To cut the long story short,we were made to submit our tellers,after beggin hitv staffs  After waiting for like 3 hours(i got there 8am and still met myriad of heads) in vain.i,.e cldnt get back my teller after submission(actually names were been shouted and reeled out so u can get back ur teller as if we were in those stone age primary schls),i left without my teller and without achieving what i went there for.Its needless sayin i missed the match i was actually striving to meet up with its coverage by paing my fee before hand.I just left with the mind that my 4k is gone wit the mind and maybe someday I WILL PAY HITV BACK in my own way .Lo and behold i got home around 8.30 pm frm where av gone to watch the match and i was activated.don't know if to say i was flabber-whelmed or overgasted but i promised never to go through such hassles again,not even to save my life. Here we are talking about HITV being new and nascent but THIS IS NO EXCUSE in bizness.Are you saying if this is a product makin company i.e pharmaceutical company,their ineptitude and awriness would/should be condoned why tens and thousands lose their lives all because they are new?Like hell(pardon my choice of words pls)Glo came,saw and glowed their way to our hearts and gave the best foreign country cld offer stiff opposition and made them review their stand on issues like per sec billing.To curtail any possible and probable setback is what feasibilty studies are for.Why cldnt HITV do a free test transmission and kick start full blown bness when they are steadied?All these remain in the rhetorical realms for now and we are already entraped for the love of football,or what have u.
