I need and urgent explanation on the meaning of this code p0705 because i scanned my nissan xterra and it gave me this code (p0705). What exactly is the problem? what am i supposed to work on before i start spending.

Thanks a million, i took the truck to the mechanic and he told me to change the ATF, that was why i needed professionals on nairaland to give me a good advice.
@Nissparts, so its the PNP that is bad? if yes, who is supposed to fix it for me. Electrician or a mechanic? Do you have an office in portharcourt where i can fix it or can you recommend anybody for me since you are a guru. Is it dangerous to continue using the truck? How much is the sensor?

Either the wire has cut or it needs adjustment or it has gone bad.
Have a mechanic locate it and check.
I dont have it in stock, can only order for you.
Usual symptom is you wont be able to go into overdrive.
