I dont understand dis our police, from wht I read abt d story, d whole issue didnt happen within 2 minutes, it took sometime. Let's say they didnt av enuf bullets and didnt av enuf training on hw to handle a mob or better still didnt av enuf brain to at least fire a shot into d air to scare d aluu idiots away, y didnt dey call for back up? tpia@: i don't present Anecdotes, A UNIPORT student said they are cultists. the eye witness video said they were not four on that mission, they were 5, and students know them, its like a gang that went for debt recovery. what if the debtor was shot dead in the process? will you be sympathizing with these attempted murderers? even the fifth guy confessed they went with a gun but he ran away with it after scaring the villagers with few shots, so what are you saying? if people lynch people randomly like you want to paint, believe me, Nigerian population wont be this big. i have witnessed such scenarios many times and the victims are always caught in the act!!! the story made sense because i know what cultists call "chancing", if you don't ask people they will tell you. what could have befallen the said debtor with 5 cultists wielding dangerous weapons to collect debt? or you think "marching", "jojo" and "chancing" are child's play. if you care to know, my room mate in year one died during "jojo", and we buried him. who knows the prayer of the debtor, perhaps "BACK TO SENDER" cultists brought death to him and they were killed. is this why i should lose sleep? for those of you calling for the law to take its cause, i laugh at you. Nigerian judiciary don't remove bad eggs from the society for obvious reasons, they are compromised. if police had arrested these boys, the judges will still release them and the vicious cycle of violence continues, please let us be real here. America's democracy is working, because the law enforcement and the judiciary are efficient, can you liken that to Nigeria? let me tell you, the most notorious executioners from different cults in my school were all children from well to do families with solid contacts. do you know that a hit happened in my hostel then one guy was shot dead in cold blood, so the police guarding INEC office at the time, arrested the boy and handed him over the the SARS (special anti robbery squad). guess what, this boy was in class on Wednesday when he slept in SARS detention on saturday night. how did a cold murderer come out? where is justice for the deceased? why are people held for so long awaiting trial? because the police and judiciary are all looking for settlement. so who takes the murderers, R@pists and thieves off the street? So where is the gun?, where is the evidence?. To make an accusation you have to present evidence that can be used in a court of law, so where are they? Why the police didnt recover any gun? |

If those boys actually went with gun(s), then, it raises a lot of questions. Even though I do not support jungle justice, there are many questions that beg for answers? Why didn't the boys report their debtor to the police, parents or even NANS? What if they killed their debtor in the process? |
