Principal responsibility for the business development and marketing activities of the client, and on behalf of all the clients’ clients in order to increase business in the Oil & Gas sector

Relationship Building / Lead Generation

Build and foster relationships with players and key decision-makers in the sector (i.e, all IOC, NOC’s, Governmental bodies
Clear demonstration of understanding of organizational protocol for all Private Sector Companies and Governmental and Non-Governmental Bodies having direct and indirect influence on the implementation of the client’s client strategy
Demonstrate full knowledge of all matters pertaining to NDC and its execution
Generation of leads for potential new business
Introduction of the clients’ client to new players and business opportunities in the sector
Complete demonstration of the clients’ clients business strategy and needs
Develop formal business proposals and business model designs to pitch to the market
Develop materials to define the clients’ clients business opportunities to support the Business Plan
Drafting feasibility on key projects, conducting company, market and competitor analysis and provide well-researched forecasts to support the client’s business planning

Tender Processing

Follow up on a daily basis required project or tendering information
Attend project clarification meeting if need be
Follow up regularly on pre-qualification adverts
Be able to understand prequalification requirements
Be able to liaise with Client in preparing prequalification/technical /commercial packages
Be able to produce a capture plan after a project is pre qualified

Competitor Intelligence

Obtaining intelligence, analyzing and reporting on all the clients’ clients competitor market activity and trends

Team Management

Managing the activities of the client’s Marketing Officers
Identifying individual development needs of the team members
Providing assistance with relationship building and lead generation activities at senior level

Reporting

Analyze, evaluate and compile all reports on project activities of the IOC’s/NOC’s and Industry as it pertains to the client and the client’s client business
Issue individual monthly Sales & Marketing reports on the industry/projects to the client’s client
Generate all internal monthly business development activity reports to the client
Submission of all business development reports on request by the client on behalf of the Group

Marketing Activities

Represent or assist the client or the clients’ client during meetings with IOCs or Authorities as applicable
Represent the client or the clients’ client at Industry exhibitions/conferences/seminars as requested
To manage the relationship between the client (and by extension of the clients’ Clients interests) and all players of the market present in country. To obtain full knowledge of the local market and business environment.
To coordinate on a daily basis the activities of the Oil and Gas Industry, especially with:

NAPIMS, DPR, NIPEX, NNPC or any new Governmental Body to be created
International Oil Companies (IOC) in Nigeria (Agip, Shell, Total, Exxon, Chevron, Addax, Sinopec, etc)
And potentially with major National Oil Companies (NOC) in Nigeria (Afren, Oando, Sahara, Camac, etc)

Has authority over all matters connected with his/her work to the benefit of the client business strategy with the agreement of the client’s MD
Participate as a member of the Group Senior Management Team
Represent the Company at conferences and exhibitions




Qualification and Experience:



Sales and Marketing/ business development background, real business planner.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas sector
Good Computer skills, especially with Visio, PowerPoint, Excel etc.
Team Player, pursuing common goals
Familiar with Nigeria business
Excellent Communication skills
