Are people living at ogun/ lagos state boundaries jinxed of road repairs.

The people living at border towns (akute, Ajuwon, Agbado, Toyin, Okearo, etc) of these states has never been lucky with any of the civilian governors in terms of road repairs.

We have local govt that care less about maintenance of roads to the extent that the road leading to their area office at Akute is impassable sometime. How can local govt officials be watching flood water washing away the road between Ajuwon junction and grail land leaving the drainage provided for it. Most drainage at ajuwon bus stop are blocked. Our local govt officials are only good at collecting rates, taxes and dues while the maintenance of infrastructure to which rates dues and taxes are paid are neglected.

Governance in Nigeria is inefficient, their inefficiency is the reason why all forms of obnoxious laws are made, yet there is no success.

If major road construction can not be made as soon as practicable, at least the existing one could be repaired, looking at the pix below, you will agree with me that the part of the state is gradually be cut off civilizations. How would any citizen be happy paying dues, rates and taxes to Ifo local govt.

The successive govt of ogun state has not been paying attention to these communities, a former gov once said he doesn’t know akute ajuwon, this is sad.

LASG has more concentration inside inner Lagos and Ogun State Government ain't gonna leave it's inner cities and towns facing border town.
Best thing in making life better for people there is for the two state governments to reason together like they('re) did/doing in the case of Ikorodu/Isagamu.

I was in some areas the OP listed some years back, then I realizes most people there are either working in main Lagos, Abeokuta or Ibadan.
It's pathetic, these areas might not even be know to these governments because it came to existence due to the increment in population of the two states, most especially Lagos.

People in that area are in millions undecided
