Obj's Visit To Ekiti: Police Shoot Protesters by Mamajama(m): 10:12pm On Jan 24, 2008 |
The police this morning opened fire on protesters who had gathered in hundreds at the Okeyinmi Quarters in Ekiti State ahead of the visit of former President Olusegun Obasanjo. The protesters said they didn’t want Obasanjo in the state because he failed to turn the fortunes of the state around while he was in power for eight years. The protesters, who gathered at the Oreyinmi Quarters early this morning, started moving towards Government House when the police shot at them to disrupt the protest at about 10 a.m http://www.thenewsng.com/modules/news/article.php?storyid=4100 kai them don finish BABA IYABO.

I just think lots of people are picking on Obj. The jury is still out on his regime in my opinion, but a bonafide recidivist like Babangida marches all over Nigeria----------------sycophants in tow. |

No past president that has ever done well in Nigeria, going by the way we see things in this part of world,i think i am been bored by so call Obasanjo's everyday stories,I think by so doing we are making him much popular. Me think we should let him (Olusegun Obasanjo) be and let posterity judge him Ekiti people shouldn't have waste their precious time protesting against his visiting, they should have ignored him a go to their various businesses, that would tell him he's not welcome in the state. |

It serves him right and equally a big lesson for those who are still in authority for them to mend their ways. For whatever a man sows so shall he reap. A word is enough for the wise!!!. |
